Depending upon the pH of your scalp, what type of shampoo should one use?

My teacher recently told us that different people have different pH of their scalp. There is succession of different microorganisms on the scalp once we have washed it. Some people have acidic pH while others have basic pH. She said that the shampoo makes the scalp slightly acidic , which prevents the growth of microorganisms. Dandruff depends on this pH factor.


I want to know wheather an oily scalp in Basic in nature?

pH basically defines the acidity or alkalinity of a solution.. regarding ur scapl.. if you r hving dry scalp then i suggest u use a low pH shampoo since it restores moisture.. if u r having a moist scalp then use a high Ph shampoo to remove excess moisture. Hope dis helps.. ( acidic = %26lt; 7 pH )
