Does water dry up your scalp or shampoo?

i don't like washing my hair every day because i heard it dries up your scalp but i have to wet my hair before combing %26amp; styling it %26amp; then put moose %26amp; gel in it. but im worried is putting water in it [but not shampoo] gonna dry up my scalp or damage my hair??Does water dry up your scalp or shampoo?

you have to watch what shampoo you buy. alot of cheap shampoo's and daily clarifying shampoo's will strip the moisture from you hair and make you itch like crazy. when you buy shampoo just make sure you get something that says it puts moisture back in your hair or something like that.
No, the mousse will make your scalp dryer. If you are not washing your hair between adding more mousse, you will get a build up.


Hair is hygroscopic and actually benefits from adding water.
