make sure ur hair is wet, then lather the shampoo, massage it in so that u stimulate the follicles. once that is done then u can rinse it. It's better for ur hair this way. put shampoo into your hands first, rub hands together a couple of times then massage gently into your scalp... lather up then rinse.
how long have you been washing your hair? geez. doesn't really matter. the water is washing it away. lather before, then rinse.
most directions on the bottles say Lather THEN Rinse and Repeat if desired.
