No, if you leave it on your skin for long it will actually burn your scalp! If you are having ongoing problems get your GP to have a look.Can I put polytar shampoo on and leave it overnight to calm my itchy inflammed scalp?
If your scalp is inflammed have a word with your pharmacist, if you can't get to see your doctor soon. I don't think leaving any shampoo on your hair will help. A diagnosis is required!
