If Head and Shoulders contains Sodium Lauryl Sulphate then yes, it not only will dry out your hair, but it will cause skin ailments and possibly cancer. Sodium Laureth Sulphate is less harmful, but it's still not good. SLS is an ingredient that makes soaps foam up. The foam is not needed to clean hair. I did not know all of this.
