I have highlighted hair and normally use elvive shampoo and conditioner, but at the moment it's hurting my head with slight itching. Selsun blue medicated shampoo. Use everyday for a week, then once every other day there after.
You don't need to have dandruff to use it, it will soothe and heal the scalp.
