You don't have soap flakes - you have sca;p flakes!

Buy the Neutrogena TSal shampoo.

Comb hair and massage scalp before shampoo

Wet hair, use 50 cent peice size of shampoo. Scrub scalp with fingertips. Do not pile hair on head, and do not scrub shafts of hair - it doesn't need it. If it doesn't lather well, rinse and repeat.

Rinse thoroughly.

Apply TSal conditioner - work through all hair, gently. Leave on as long as directed.

Rinse thoroughly.

Squeeze out water, wrap hair in towel.

Scrub all combs, brushes with shampoo and nail brush or old toothbrush. Repeat at least once a month.

Take towel off hair, and comb out. Do not rub dry hair, or brush wet hair - it is fragile when wet and will break and split.

Avoid other hair products as much as possible.

If this doesn't help after two-three treatments, clean up your diet:

avoid all fried, fast, and junk food - even diet junk food

drink 1/2 gallon of water a day

take a multivitamin with minerals every day.

If still doesn't help after two weeks, see a dermatologist.Does anyone use Nutrogena shampoo to clean their scalp%26gt;?
If it's soap or product residue use a clarifying shampoo. If it truly is dandruff use Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo and a leave in conditioner.
