What to do when you have to switch shampoo every few weeks to prevent itchy scalp?

I've tried different shampoo.. My hair dresser said my hair/scalp are pretty healthy. But I still have the problem of having itchy scalp after continuing using one shampoo for more than a couple weeks. What to do when you have to switch shampoo every few weeks to prevent itchy scalp?
Maybe you should try a line called Nioxin... It specializes is scalp treatment. It's good for itchy or dry scalp, and it also has a lot of nutrients and vitamins to make your hair and scalp feel wonderful! It smells like mint and feels so invigorating....What to do when you have to switch shampoo every few weeks to prevent itchy scalp?
Burt Bees avacado and Olive oil treatment works well. You have to leave it on a minimum of 15 minutes but its a scalp treatment and hair treatment in one. Its REALLY thick and you have to comb it through but works wonders. If that doesn't work try a hair product that has peppermint in it, peppermint might just intense enought to get rid of the itch.
Maybe your scalp is just too dry and you dont know it. try a deep conditioner, concentrating on your roots instead of the ends. It will soothe it and make your hair shiny!

wow, ive never ever had that problem.

if you have an itchy scalp i would try a shampoo like head and shoulders or selsun blue. im not assuming you have dandruff but that could make your scalp itch so even if you dont have dandruff, try a shampoo like selsun blue or head and shoulders. theyre made to get rid of dandruff so it might also relieve the itching.

if that doesnt work, you might want to see a dermatologist.

good luck!
Omgshhh.

uhm sorry to say.

but that's pretty weird.

hahahahha.

you might want to go to the doctor..

you might have lice.

just try ittt.

okay.

and i use SUNSILK i love it.

: ) peacee.
well ya just switch shampoos every two weeks or three even
Most people tell you that you should change your shampoo regularly. Your hair feels and looks nicer if you do. If you stick with one shampoo for a long period of time they can end up tinting your hair. Pink shampoo for a long time equals pink tint. I cant see why your scalp would be dry from the shampoo though. maybe the water is just too hot for skin and is drying it out.
